Default Easy way to show Player in Hard Mode

Sorry if this has been suggested already (been out of the sardelac fourm for while). But just a quick idea to better show player who is in Hard Mode.

Simply by adding a small visual difference under their name while in town (a small icon, or name appear in a bit of differnt color, or a underline). That way make Pick-LFG easier.

When you are in hard mode all the map icons are in red, so based on that there's a few things that could work. Similar to bosses you could add a faint red aura to a player that's in hard mode. Make their name appear red when viewed with ctrl like you said.
It is annoying when you join a party only to find that it's a hard mode group .

The party search panel notes if a player is in hard mode or not.
Using it will solve this.

The party window should work. However hardly anyone actually uses it, making it useless.

A better solution might be to have separate hard and normal mode districts.

Or there could be a little red helmet above their character where the little blue party thing normally is.

Instead of blue numbers over the party leader, make them red. Easy.

Reading this,

deleets idea is the best and simplest of all, change color to red, deal done.

I support that one.

Well, I use it, for finding parties and trading, and it works. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and is therefore extremely useful. The problem is with the players not using it, not with the party window itself.
